When to call 911 & when not to call ... there are 4 reasons to make an emergency 911 call!
1-When someone is hurt & needs help
2-if you smell smoke or see a fire
3-if you see someone stealing or hurting someone else
4-if you need emergency help for any reason
Remember, do not call 911 to ask questions or play a joke!
How to make a 911 call
1- Stay Calm
2-Tell the person who answers the phone what is wrong
3- Tell them the exact location where the emergency is
4- Give your name, address, and phone number
5- DO NOT HANG UP until the dispatcher tells you that you should; they might need to ask you questions to help the police officers, fire fighters or paramedics
